Phone Card Reader

It is a program for reading phone cards ISO-7816 standard. These are almost all cards types which are met in Russia and Europe. Program reads memory of the card, detects the quantity of units left and other attributes: serial number, capacity etc. Very full detailed and understandable help is built in. Connection scheme is attached.

FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

Q: How to connect the card to the computer?
A: Having started the program press F1. In help everything is described in detail. In the simplest case for connecting the card you need 6 wires, card and computer.

Q: Can this program be used for filling cards with units?
A: No cannot. It is impossible in principle. The developers of cards have foreseen only decreasing of units quantity.

Q: Can the program at least decrease the quantity of units?
A: This functions isn't implemented because:
1) What for?
2) Different types of cards have different procedure of reset units.
Maybe, in next versions this function will be available.

Q: Will this program work under Windows?
A: Without any problem under Windows 95 and 98. Possible, under others too - not tested.

Q: How can I get English version of this program?
A: This program is first candidate for translation.

Q: When can I get new version of this program?
A: It is impossible in the near future. Unfortunately, sources of last version are lost, because my HDD was broken. Data recovery require $50-60, but I don't have such spare cash.
